Domain Types

There are several types of domains that you can use with your Spookhost hosting account. Each type has its own unique features and benefits. Below is a list of the different domain types available:

Addon Domains

Addon Domains are additional domains that you can add to your hosting account. They allow you to host multiple websites on a single hosting account. Each addon domain has its own directory and can have its own website.

Subdomains

Subdomains are addon domains but for an existing custom domain or Spookhost-isued free subdomain like .shpage.top.

Parked Domains

Parked domains (also called alias) are domains that point to the same website as a addon/subdomain of your choice. They are used to redirect traffic from one domain to another. For example, if you have a website at example.com, you can park example.net and example.org to point to the same website. Free subdomains cannot be parked domains.
