Cloudflare Integration

You can use your custom domains on Cloudflare for DNS while using Spookhost for website hosting

Adding your domain to Spookhost

Please follow the instructions in Add New Domains to add your domain to Spookhost. You can use either the Nameserver method or the CNAME validation method.

Changing Cloudflare SSL mode

Cloudflare by default uses "Flexible" SSL mode, which is not secure. Please change it to "Full" mode. All websites have self-signed SSL certificates automatically covered, so full mode will work perfectly.

TIP

You can also use "Full (Strict)" mode if you have a valid SSL certificate installed on your website. However, this is not required for Spookhost websites and you will need to renew the certificates manually when they expire.
